Wine Estate
The Romans first introduced vines into our region. We can not be certain that Château des Vigiers was part of this initial phase of planting, but quality wines have been produced here as far back as the 16th century.
We continue to improve the quality of our Red, Dry white, Sweet white and Rosé wines. Michel Rolland who, according to the Wine Spectator, is one of the best oenologists in the world, supervises our production to produce award winning wines.
On your travels along the "Route des Vins", why not stop off at our lovely 16th century Château, centrepiece of a magnificent Golf & Country Club offering 4 star accommodation to visitors who come to relax and unwind in the tranquil surroundings of our vineyards and plum orchards.
We provide a perfect base for individual guests and small groups to increase their knolwedge of wine, and wine tasting excursions can be organised in the neigbouring Bergerac vineyards as well as the world famous vineyards of St Emilion, Pomerol, Sauternes and Médoc.
